Rescue Me....
My first pug's name was Frog. He was around 9 to 10 years old and needed a new home because the cats were ganging up on him at his farm home. I remember the day like it was yesterday and it was about 20+ years ago. I didn't know what a pug was and had always loved a mutt as much as anything else, but this dog was different. He had a smushed up face and looked funny. I was uncertain and quickly prayed that if I was suppose to take this dog home that he would come to my car door first rather than mom's. The next thing I knew he started running towards mom's side of the car and then abruptly halted and crossed in front of the car and came to me first. I still didn't know about this little funny looking dog but he quickly melted my heart and set me on a path that I never expected. It's because of him, his love, devotion and friendship that mom and I have actively supported pug rescue and other animal rescue entities over the years. We primarily support Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue. If you can help by transporting, doing home visits, fostering dogs that are waiting for adoption or donate money, supplies or other items for auctions, etc., please consider doing so. Thank you
